Welcome

A word from our Chief Executive

Welcome to Continental EV & Energy Center. Whether you are here to buy your first electric vehicle, to plan charging for a fleet, or simply to see what this transition means for our country, I am glad you came.

The Gambia does not have to wait for the clean-energy transition to reach it. We are building it here, now — the charging network, the solar and storage that powers it, and the Gambian technicians who will keep it running long after the first vehicles arrive.

Every litre of fuel this country imports is money that leaves it. Every kilometre driven on sunlight is money that stays. That is the whole argument, and it is why we are investing in this infrastructure before it is convenient rather than after it is obvious.

We are here for the long build: to make electric mobility ordinary in The Gambia, and to keep the skills, the jobs and the value in Gambian hands. Look around, ask us the hard questions, and hold us to them.

Vehicles ready to drive

A live selection from the floor. Stock changes as shipments land, so the list here is always current.

Why go electric

The maths works in The Gambia

Fuel is imported and expensive. Sunlight is not. For most drivers here, the switch pays for itself long before the warranty runs out.

Lower running costs

Electricity per kilometre costs a fraction of petrol, and charging from solar cuts it further still.

Less maintenance

No oil, no exhaust, no gearbox. Service visits are shorter, cheaper and further apart.

Cleaner air

Zero tailpipe emissions in Banjul, Serrekunda and every community we serve.

Supported locally

Charger installation, spare parts held in country and technicians trained to manufacturer standard.

What we do

More than a showroom

We design and operate the infrastructure that makes electric driving practical here — and we train the people who keep it running.

EV Charging Infrastructure

We design, install, and operate fast, ultra-fast, solar-powered, and grid-connected EV charging stations across cities, highways, and commercial hubs.

Electric Vehicle Deployment

We support government fleets, transport operators, and private companies in adopting electric buses, taxis, utility vehicles, and consumer EVs.

Solar & Battery Energy Systems

We integrate renewable-energy and battery-storage solutions to improve reliability, reduce costs, and sustainably power EV charging networks.

Technical Training & Workforce Development

We provide EV technician training, renewable-energy education, and OEM-aligned certification programs to build a skilled national workforce.

Projects

What is being built, and where

Charging corridors, a training centre, solar and storage behind the chargers, and fleets moving over to electric — sequenced so the busiest routes come online first.

Trust

What our clients say

“The team handled the import, the paperwork and the home charger installation. We were driving within the month, and the running cost is a fraction of what we were paying for fuel.”

Fleet manager

Greater Banjul transport operator

“What convinced us was the after-sales answer. Trained technicians here, parts held locally, and a clear warranty. That is what makes an EV practical in The Gambia.”

Operations director

Private sector client

“Their advisory work on charging placement was rigorous and grounded in how people actually travel across the country.”
